Pretty 19th century canvas representing a beautiful bouquet of flowers in a vase placed in the grass. the canvas is in very good condition, just a very small restored hitch. Lots of freshness and delicate colors. The painter, Paul Théodore Poirier is a 19th century artist listed as a flower painter in an English dictionary of flower painters. he painted on canvas and earthenware. It also appears in the Benezit. He was a pupil of Lequien and exhibited at the Salon from 1878. Born in Paris and died in 1895. French School.
