"Reclining Chair Holmes Patent, American Mahogany Lounge Chair XIXth"
Superb and rare American mahogany lounge chair from the end of the 19th century called "Reclining Chair". It rests on a curved base finished with 4 castors. The seat consists of a mechanism allowing the inclination of the backrest and the lengthening of the legrest, with the movement of the armrests. At the lower end is a footrest that unfolds and the assembly is maintained with a transverse rod that fits into the notches below. The set is covered with a "leopard" fabric and brown velvet.
