Superb composition of the Virgin ascending to the heavens, crowned by cherubs and witnesses by the angels present. Exquisite details throughout and good original condition for its age. On a first divided panel. Presented in an antique gilt frame. Similar to Reni's 1607 work held at the National Gallery with some variations including the palette. Dimensions: 48" x 34" framed
