A lively genre scene with colors in harmony, the original of which was painted by Philippe Mercier (Berlin 1699-London 1760) and the latter by an 18th century follower.
Painting in excellent condition, lined in the 19th century, in an 18th century frame in full harmony with the painted work.
Philippe Mercier, a painter of portraits and genre scenes, born in Berlin in 1699, where he worked for a long time, especially pursued a very large part of his works in England in London, where he died in 1760.
