"Empire Bracket Clock, Early 19th Century, Sandberg Anders, Rare"
Very Rare Empire Backet  clock in blackened wood by the Swedish watchmaker Anders Sandberg (1776-1829) from Norrköping.

The clock has a golden Verge escapement movement with an engraved and chiseled Coq. Signed "Sandberg Norrkoping".

The Clock is contained in a large blackened wooden case with an original gilt bronze hook.
Original metal golden dial, original double mineral lenses.

Movement revised  by my watchmaker, polished and lubricated.
Complete with a key for reassembly and adjustment.

The wooden crate measures 15.5x15.5.
Height with hook 22.5
Diameter of the dial 6.5
