From the Second Empire period, box in thuja burl veneer with rosewood and rosewood fillets in frame, inlaid decoration of mother-of-pearl, mahogany and brass inlays on the cover. Lid opens onto a red velvet sewing kit tray. Interior of the box sheathed and padded with a red silk fabric in very good condition. With his key but the clasp no longer works.
