A bridge. By Albert Raty, 1889/1970. This landscape has the frank and very expressive touch of Raty, is signed lower left. Oil on canvas board. probably around 1940. Raty, painter from the Belgian Ardennes, notably trained in the Parisian studio of the Grande Chaumière with Lucien Simon, is illustrated by the frank and dynamic character of his touch. Here in this twilight landscape, large blue and pink brush strokes animate the subject. There are some small spaces where the canvas appears in reserve. Dimensions. 41.5 x 32 cm
