Large Paris Porcelain Vase, 19th Century

This very tall baluster vase from the Napoleon III style and time is an elegant piece. White and gold leafy scrolls escape a characteristic midnight blue background. In a central cartouche surrounded by a fleur-de-lis frieze blooms a joyful and colorful bouquet composed of roses, dahlias and orchids, carnations, violets and anemones. The very high golden collar dotted with blue patterns is adorned on its lip with a pretty golden frieze of Gothic rosettes.

Without any mark under its base, this large Napoleon III vase is however unable to hide its Parisian origin! Everything concurs in recognizing here a very fine production of Paris porcelain.
