Biedermeier Demi-Lune folding table, cherry, southern Germany circa 1825 Beautiful Biedermeier Demi-Lune folding table or console from southern Germany circa 1820. Condition restored. Birch and solid veneer, hand polished with shellac (French varnish). The top can be unfolded for a full round table. Therefore, the support leg, which also functions as a drawer, can be removed from the rear. In between are two strong metal hinges. Dimensions: H 75.5 (closed) / 73 cm (open) x W 97 cm x D 49 cm (closed) / 97 cm (open)
