Antique Mahogany Feather Dresser With Maple Inlays. Nineteenth Century.

Antique Smith-style four-drawer dresser with statuary white marble top. The front elevation is characterized by three rear drawers in the central part and an advanced drawer in the lower part, all interspersed with a grooved chain. The maple inlay in the middle part of the drawer has a raceme pattern and has a large bronze keyhole in the center to house the key. The interiors are in maple according to the Neapolitan tradition.
