This charming painting was painted by Marcel Azema aka Azema-Billa, it is signed at the bottom right of the canvas, at the back of it, a label from the artist's studio. Dimensions: frame 63 cm X 73.5 cm canvas 50 cm X 61 cm Marcel Azema said Azema-Billa was born in Paris on August 15, 1904. He will be the pupil of his uncle Ernest Azema (Prix de Rome for painting), near from him he will learn drawing and painting. During his career he will receive numerous awards and exhibit in numerous exhibitions. He will be the winner of the Othon Friesz Prize, he will also be president in 1953 of the Salon des Artistes Occitans in Toulouse, a city in which he will stay for a while.
