Oil on canvas signed Sanchez, representing ruins in the Creuse valley. These ruins are probably the ruins of Crozant castle. Sanchez rubbed shoulders with certain painters from the Crozant school, notably Gaston Thiery (1922-2013) who ensured the continuity of this school. Beautiful effect of depth of colors, this painting is sold with its original frame bearing the painter's name in the molding. The canvas also bears the signature at the bottom right.
