Superb bronze model with old brown patina after Coustou Guillaume. Signed on the terrace, very beautiful original patina, model titled the African. Bronze model with prancing horse held by his groom (naked and muscular) models of horses ordered by louis XV in carrara marble in 1745 to adorn the drinking trough at the Château de Marly, now in the Louvre. Sold in its own juice !! Provenance: beautiful Bordeaux property !! Height: 40 cm, length: 30 cm, depth: 16 cm. Very nice format to make a nice presentation !!
