Superb theatrical gilded brass bezel with decoration of small stars, and mother of pearl, signed Lerebours * in Paris, in its case, from Napoleon III period, 19th century. This glasses is in good condition. It is signed see photos. A note: wear and slight scratches of use, wear of the case, see photos. * Noël Marie Paymal Lerebours (1807-1873) is a French optician and daguerreotypist. He was born to an unknown father. His mother married the optician Jean Lerebours who adopted the child in 1836. On the death of his father, Noël Paymal took over the optical shop installed on Place du Pont-Neuf and joined forces with Marc Secrétan in 1845.
