Superb oil on wood 24x33cm (36x45cm framed) signed Benoni VAN DER GHEYNST born in BELGIUM in RENAIX in 1876 and died in NICE in 1946. It is dated July 1930 and located in OSCAR wood in KNOKKE. In 1898 and 1901, he participated in the entrance examination for the ROME prize. He mainly paints portraits, characters and genre paintings. He exhibited at the triennial fair of fine arts in BRUXELLES in 1903
