Recto: busts opposite Louis-Philippe and Marie-Amélie in oval medallions surrounded by fretwork frames, with the captions: "LOUIS PHILIPPE I ROI DES FRANCAIS" and "MARIE AMELIE REINE DES FRANCAIS"; these medallions are brought together in the center by a cartouche decorated with a lion's head, above which stands a Victory, standing in front, the naked torso, which raises an oak branch above the effigy of the king and a bouquet of flowers above that of the queen; below the cartouche, an oval shield surmounted by a royal crown and loaded at the heart of the Tables of the law where one reads on three lines: "CHARTE / DE / 1830"; this shield is supported on each side by two loves; below, a phylactery, going from one medallion to the other, carries this inscription in hollow: "THE ROYAL FAMILY VISITS THE CURRENCY ON NOV. 8, 1833."
Verso: four medallions arranged in a cross: those at the top and bottom in oval shape, those on the left and right square with rounded angles; in the upper medallion, carried by a Love mounted face on the lower medallion, and supported on each side by Victories, to the naked torso, lying on the frame of the square medallions, the bust of Madame Adélaïde, sister of the king, on the left , with the caption: "EUGENIE ADÉLAÏDE LOUISE PRINC. D'ORLÉANS"; in the lower medallion, accosted by two winged newts, supporting with one hand the square medallions on the right and on the left, the superimposed busts of the Duke of Orleans and his sister, the Queen of the Belgians, on the right, with the legend : "* FERD.
