Original frame in patinated and gilded wood with Berain ornamentation. Good general condition, dimensions: 72 cm X 60 cm Bernard Louis BORIONE, French painter of genre subjects and interiors. Born in Paris, he was a pupil of his father and of the artist Évariste-Vital Luminais. BORIONE's works are richly colored and masterfully painted, which explains why its popularity has remained constant over the years. The use of purple or red episcopal colors improves the artist's palette and adds richness to the already sumptuous interior.
