Very beautiful oil painting on canvas "Salome receiving the head of Saint John the Baptist", dated and signed J. Stallaert in the upper right, beautifully painted with beautiful facial expressions, in a tortoiseshell wooden frame. Joseph Stallaert (1825-1903), Belgian painter having received several first prizes, one of his paintings is exhibited at the Museum in Brussels.
