"Pair Of Nineteenth Nubian Stools In Blackened Wood"
superb and rare pair of 19th century stools in blackened wood representing Nubians. They rest on a spherical base on which is kneeling a Nubian in a tunic on a drape background. The set of characters is very realistic, the sculpture of great finesse. The 2 Nubians face each other which makes his stools a real pair. they are capped with a round molding on which is fixed a studded black leather. The set is solid and comfortable, original and of good quality.
