"Table Changer 17th Walnut"
Walnut changer table Louis XIV. The top is in slate framed by an inlay, fillet and cartridge 4 lions in light wood in the corners. The feet are finely turned and carved on the masses. Beautiful H spacer with a crossbow movement. The sleepers are molded. 1 drawer in the belt with iron handle for the draw. This table model is probably from the region of Avignon. The changer tables were at the entrance of the cities for the exchange of currencies from the 17th to the end of the 18th partour in Europe. Furniture of character. Some catering on the top. Beautiful patina with beeswax.
