Beautiful Portrait Of An Officer Around 1750
Very interesting and beautiful portrait of an officer wearing the armor breastplate under his coat with large embroidered stripes. At that time, before the Choiseul regulations, many officers wore very colorful and highly embroidered uniforms. In good condition, this painting was restored a few years ago. We have added a very beautiful period carved and gilded oak frame. Very nice decorative effect for a painting of very good quality.
