"Northern Earthenware, Late 18th Century, Jacquot Jug, A Man On Horseback On A Barrel, Wearing A Bicorne With Revolutionary Cockade"
Anthropomorphic pitcher called "Pot Jacquot" representing a pot-bellied man astride a barrel, he wears a bricorn decorated with the revolutionary tricolor cockade. On the front face of the barrel one can read the inscription “Ah ça Ua”.
**A beautiful object, late 18th, early 19th century**
Good condition, just to mention for the record, small égrenures on the feet and very slight scratches in places, but nothing really noticeable.
