Magnificent lock for double Haussmann door in the Louis XVI style in very finely chiseled gilt bronze with bas relief decoration of putti and foliage.
Superb bronze work, magnificent gilding. Signed ST on the edge of the Sterling house in Paris. Famous Parisian locksmith, house founded in 1782 and still active today.
