"Coal Fossil Collection"
Historical! This collection dating from the 1960s comes from Lievin pit 3, known as Saint-Amé. This mine begins the extraction in 1860 to finish in 1974. In 1974 the catastrophe of Lievin made 42 victims in the shaft. These coal fossils date from the Carboniferous, a primary era between 358 million years and 289 million years ago. Dimensions between 5cm and 20cm
