A Vase With Lid, Arita - Imari, Japan, 17th / 18th Century
A large Japanese vase with lid. Decorated with floral designs including Chrysanthemum flowers, Shishi (Komainu) dogs and a full female figure at the top of the lid. Porcelain enamelled, painted and gilded by hand. Arita - Imari, Japan, late 17th/early 18th century. Height 45 cm, diameter 22 cm. The state of conservation is visible in the photographs, the vase has significant cracks. Method and cost of delivery to be agreed.
