A potpourri vase in turquoise enamelled sandstone with gilt bronze mounts. The bronzes, of very good quality, are openwork and decorated with foliage, rockeries and flowers. Under the bottom of the jar, a printed label reads: “MAISON L’ESCALIER DE CRISTAL PANNIER-LAHOCHE & Cie. 1 rue Auber and rue Scribe, 6. (Opposite the Grand Opera) » 1628. There are also Chinese Ideograms on the bottom of the pot. Under the lid is engraved "Escalier de Cristal Paris". Dimensions: L: 30cm D: cm H: 35cm Restorations: for use and maintenance.
