Bronze Sculpture Representing A Deer And A Dog, Signed Delabrierre.
Beautiful bronze sculpture representing a stag slaying a dog during a hunt. It is signed on the embankment E. Delabrierre. Paul Edouard Delabrierre was born on March 29, 1829 in Paris, he died in the same city in 1912. Sculptor of statues and animals. He exhibited at the Salon from 1848 to 1882. We owe Delabrierre at the Louvre Palace a stone pediment: Horse Riding. A beautiful patina with nuanced tones brings out the finesse of the details. Very good state. W/D/H: 38 X 16 X 42 cm. Terrace: 38 X 15 cm. Weight: 7.5 kg.
