Large Onyx Medallion Pendant
Large onyx medallion pendant surmounted by a button pearl in a claw setting and surrounded by trefoil motifs adorned with small pearls, three of which are missing. The mount is 18k yellow gold (750/1000). 19th century work. This is a memorial pendant; on the reverse, behind the glass, a portrait of the loved one or locks of their hair was placed. Hallmarks: 2 Owls. Gross weight: 26.49 g. Dimensions: 5.7 cm total length (5 cm without the bail) / 3.9 cm wide / 1.3 cm thick. Condition: fair, as three small pearls are missing (on the sides), and the central pearl is worn; otherwise, very attractive overall. Ref. 468
