Jean-Joseph Sanfourche, simply known as Sanfourche, is a French painter, poet, draftsman and sculptor, born June 25, 1929 in Bordeaux, and died March 13, 2010 in Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat1. He practiced art brut and was the friend of Gaston Chaissac, Jean Dubuffet, Robert Doisneau, with whom he maintained a correspondence.
