Very beautiful and large pastel by ISIDORE ROSENSTOCK (1880-1956) Nicknamed the painter of flowers, member of the International Society of Watercolourists, and official color designer of Manufacture de Sèvres. He was famous at the beginning of the last century for his magnificent representations of bouquets of flowers which appeared regularly in the newspaper Illustrarion. ISIDORE ROSENSTOCK will exhibit all over the world (London, Brussels, Tokyo, Munich, Rome, Madrid, New York...) This very large pastel in perfect condition is under glass in a period gilded wooden frame with some slight restoration to be carried out on the frame. Signed lower right
