Very elegant bust of a young woman, terracotta sculpture by Henri Gauquié, an artist from the North of France, who joined the group of many sculptors and artists of Valenciennes origin in Paris, such as Carpeaux, Crauk Lemaire or Hiolle. note that this proof, signed H Gauquié on the side, was part of the collection of Mrs. Holfeld, granddaughter of JB Carpeaux, part of whose works belonging to her were bequeathed to the National Museums.
