"Rare Hiller Pendulum"
Rare Hiller clock in very good condition. In 1911 B. Hiller built in Berlin a clock equipped with a film on which are recorded 48 furrows which correspond to each quarter of an hour from 0 to 12 o'clock. By pressing a button, the film starts and the time is read by a diaphragm and broadcast by the small white horn. This clock speaks German but it would have been recorded tapes in several other languages. Reference in Daniel Marty's book "Illustrated History of the Phonograph" page 170.
