"Middle Flat Desk In Walnut And Louis XV Marquetry, Eighteenth Time"
Bureau plat from the middle of the Louis XV period in walnut veneer with light wood marquetry. In an unusual form, this desk opens with 5 drawers. Iron-gilded leather top and two side pull tabs enlarge the workspace. The sides decorated with stars in walnut burl marquetry. House in very good condition, usual restorations (bottom of drawers redone in the 19th century). All built on oak and fir. The dimensions are interesting because this office is easily housed. Louis XV period, mid 18th century. Delivery by carrier in wooden crate on pallet in the DRC, 250 euros in France, 600 euros in the EU and 1500 euros rest of the world.
