Haute EpoqueLarge iridescent ceramic dish from Manises or Valence, Spain (the 1st attribution tends to be more and more frequently questioned for the 2nd)
Early 16th century
Condition: Old restoration of fels and boards used as visible in photos; light uses of the enemail copper reflections;
The hole for hanging the dish seems to me to be original.
Dimensions: 40cm diameter and 6cm depth.
This dish is part of a 5 similar large Spanish dishes collection, with copper luster decoration endfrom same period, late16th century to 1st half of 17th century (Please check last photo on this page and my other announcements to come !)
