Resinet - Iron Forge - 18th Century
Wrought iron object called resinet or rush-burner which was a popular means of lighting in the countryside. It is made up of an iron rod terminated by a clamp allowing to maintain a vegetable matter induced by a fat (tallow, cooking grease). It rests on a tripod foot.
