Large Buddha seated in Bhumisparsa mùdra, or gesture of taking the earth as a witness. Buddha calls on the earth goddess to testify that he has finally overcome the fears and temptations sent by Mara, the demon of illusion, under the Bodhi tree. Bronze, black lacquer, gold leaf. Wear, and cast iron accidents on the back at the bottom. Style of the Kingdom of Rattanakosin, 4th and current reigning power in the history of Thailand, created in 1782. Circa 1840-50 height at the flame: 0.88m
