Gallé Vase With Art Nouveau Hydrangeas Signed With A Star

On a pedestal, in multi-layered acid-etched glass, rotating decoration of a flowering hydrangea branch in delicately contrasting mauve and green colors and pink on a gray-white satin background. Typically Art Nouveau with the leaves wrapping around the vase. Beautiful "Gallé" signature with a cameo star on the foot (1904-1908). Original label "Crystallerie d'art, Emile Gallé, Nancy, Paris" bearing the number 41. Note: the photos give a fairly faithful image of the vase. Dimensions: Height: 34.3 cm Foot diameter: 9 cm Very good condition. Small bubbles and usual material imperfections.
