Lost Wax Bronze

We present this lost wax bronze cast by SUSSE representing a laughing faun by Germaine OURY (1889/1978), born in Valenciennes, wife of sculptor Félix Alexandre DERUELLES. This bronze came out beautifully in quality, with a superb patina. Some of the works of this artist are exhibited at the museum of Valenciennes as well as at the museum of the thirties in Boulogne Billancourt. Very good state of preservation. Estimate and not sold in 2006 1800/2000 Swiss francs at Blavignac Geneva (May 10, 2006). Dimensions of the base at the base 15 x 11 cm and dimensions of the cube on the step on which the sculpture rests: height 9 cm and 9 cm in section. (E)
