Ball chair by Eero Aarnio, orange and white, Adelta, Finland circa 1980/90s.
One of the greatest design classics of all time, the "Ball chair", designed by Eero Aarnio (born in 1932 in Helsinki) in 1963 and manufactured by Delta in the 1980s/90s. Hinged molded white fiberglass seat. Round leg in white lacquered aluminium. Original upholstery fabric in green wool-viscose blend. Described by the New York Times as the "most comfortable chair", this space-age classic is an eye-catcher in any modern interior or in contrast to traditional interiors. As Adelta only produced these chairs until the 1990s, they are rare collector's items.
Dimensions: Cm: H 120 cm, W 110 cm, D 90 cm, Seat-H 40 cm
