Very beautiful and interesting painting representing a woman and a monk. Oil on canvas mounted on wooden panels. In very good condition, this painting has been restored. Later Louis XVI style frame. The young woman holding a ball of wool, caressing the beard of the monk, this one leaning on a cane, holding a cord with his right hand. An atypical scene to say the least.
