Four 18th Century Miniatures
Four miniatures on ivory from the 18th century, representing portraits of women, probably from the same family over three generations. The whole, in a Louis XVI style gilt wood frame from the 19th century, on a silk background embroidered with foliage scrolls and ribbons, in the center of the coat of arms consisting of a grasshopper, two silver stars of a gilt chevron and a bagpipe.
