Chatelaine 19th

19th century silver chatelaine. It comprises 3 parts linked together by rings; each is carved with different decorations: - man and woman facing each other: the scene is surmounted by a mascaron and framed by a garland decorated with knots in an oval. - In a square frame also decorated with garlands, a mother breastfeeds her child. The lower part features a piece of goldsmithery with geometric shapes. 3 small pendants in the shape of animals: rabbit, rooster and dog complete the set. The reverse is smooth and has its key to hang the chatelaine on the belt. H: 13.5cm L: 6cm without pendants. Good condition. -
