Vintage Deafness Set

Signed "HARYS, 65 rue des Boulets Paris" France, Early 20th century. Rare set including three hearing aids kept in a compartmented presentation box. This one contains 2 pocket hearing aids with earmoulds, one in metal with openwork grid, the other in imitation tortoiseshell bakelite, as well as a "hands-free" prosthesis consisting of a pair of tortoiseshell bakelite auricles or earpieces to be worn as an adjustable headband with angled earpieces. Good condition. The lid of the box is rubbed.
