Bronze Group
Gilded bronze group representing two young cubs playing on a natural base, signed by the sculptor V.Peterand bearing the stamp of the house Susse Frères éditeurs in Paris . This sculpture is made according to the sand casting technique, with correct proportions, depth effects and precision chiselling. The appropriate choice of the red Levanto marble combined with the gilding of the bronze make this a sumptuous sculpture.
Location: Les oursons - bronze sculpture by Victor Peter (1848-1918) In the Parc Saint-Lambert, 15th arrondissement of Paris.
Belfort: Interdepartmental Chamber of Agriculture:Young Bears Playing, also known asThe Cubs, around 1901, group in grey marble. The plaster was exhibited at the 1900 Salon.
