Bourgeois Pauline represented as the winner of Venus by A.Canova. She was an Italian principle, the sister of Napoleon and the wife of the Roman prince Camille Borghese. Famous for her beauty and her extravagance, she was represented semi-recumbent on a sleeper. Marble in perfect condition. Reference Museo Borghese, Roma.
