Object description :

"Rare Regional Buffet In Cherry, Restoration Period - 1st Part Of The XIXth"
This charming Val de Loire sideboard in solid cherry wood has two drawers on the belt that open from below. It also has two doors made up of heart cherry panels and a mitred frame underlined by moldings. The doors meet without a pilaster. They are embellished with two brass entrances, the lock and the key are original and in working order. The interior of this period sideboard offers storage space with a solid shelf. The straight uprights end with a foot covering in the Directoire style, joined by a simple low crosspiece. The sides, paneled, have a shallow depth. The wide, smooth top features a mitred bezel. It is lined with two well-joined boards of the same width and a band at the back. With its interesting dimensions, this honey-coloured sideboard with sober lines will fit into a warm interior.
