Pair Of Candelabra In Bronze
Pair of patinated bronze candelabras most likely executed after a model by Ferdianand Barbedienne. It was under the Second Empire that this type of object enjoyed real success. One can appreciate here the eclecticism of the decor mixing antique neo-Greek motifs (palmettes, claw feet) and motifs inspired by the Middle Ages and the Renaissance: chimeras, heads of fantastic animals... Very good condition.
