Joseph Nitschner (austrian, B.1805) Portrait Of A Lady In A White Dress
Portrait of a woman made in 1865 by the famous Austrian portrait painter and miniaturist Joseph Nitschner (born in 1805 in Eggenburg). A pupil of the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, he worked in Vienna in the years 1850-1860 and exhibited his works at the Academy in 1832-1848.

Inscription: signed and dated 1865 on the left edge in the middle
Technique: oil on canvas. Vintage gold-plated "ochsenaugen" frames.
Dimensions: each unframed 63 x 80 cm, framed 79 x 96 cm.
Condition: the painting and the frame are in very good condition.
