Born in Anzin (Nord), Henry Léon Jacquet was a genre painter affiliated with the Wissant School.
A student of Cabanel, he appeared at the Salon and received an honourable mention in 1894 and a third class medal in 1906. Member of the French Artists since 1883. He was a qualified teacher of drawing.
