Marble Sculpture - Child Seated On Cushion - XIXth Century.
Marble subject representing a child wearing a pixie cap. He is sitting cross-legged on a very pretty cushion adorned with trimmings around the edge with 4 tassels with very finely carved corners. He holds his cap in his hands. The whole rests on a wooden tiered base covered with a fabric. Dimensions: sculpture: h: 39.5 cm; l:26.5 cm tier: h: 8.5 cm: l: 32.5 cm. Good condition (a few small stains and a small scratch on one leg, very slight chipping on a little toe). Nineteenth century.
